Job Role: DevOps Engineer (Azure)
Qualification: Microsoft Azure Certification is mandatory
Experience: 4-6 years
Salary: As per company standard
Job Location: Kolkata
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain, monitor, and support IT infrastructure
- Develop scripts for CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps
- Create packaging, deployment documentation, and production scripts
- Support agile teams with builds/releases and implement automation
- Guide build and deployment issue resolution
- Implement branching/merging strategies in Azure Repos/Git
- Design release orchestration for medium/large-scale projects
Key Skills Required:
- Azure services: Azure SQL, VMs, Blob Storage, Azure Pipelines, Azure Monitor, etc.
- CI/CD using Azure DevOps
- Linux/Unix Administration
- Docker, Kubernetes, and cluster setup
- SQL/MySQL, and web servers like Apache, Nginx, Tomcat
- Infra as code tools: Terraform, ARM Templates
- Configuration management, log monitoring, and dashboards
- System security compliance and data security
Certification:
- Microsoft Azure Certification is mandatory
