Role Overview

As a Junior DevOps Engineer at Spintly, you will support our engineering and operations teams in managing cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining Linux-based environments. This role is ideal for candidates early in their career who are passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and container orchestration.

You will gain hands-on exposure to modern DevOps workflows, cloud platforms, and container technologies, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve deployment efficiency and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Infrastructure Support

• Assist in managing and supporting cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP also welcomed).
• Deploy and maintain servers and cloud-based services.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and assist in troubleshooting.

CI/CD & Version Control

• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Maintain Git-based version control workflows.

Linux & System Administration

• Work with Linux-based systems, performing basic administration and shell scripting.
• Assist in monitoring, maintenance, and automation of system tasks.

Containerization & Orchestration

• Gain exposure to Docker containers and basic Kubernetes orchestration.
• Support deployments and containerized application workflows.

Collaboration & Learning

• Work closely with development and operations teams to enhance deployment processes.
• Document processes and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn and adopt new DevOps practices and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, System Administration, or related roles.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP also welcome).
• Exposure to CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Linux systems and basic shell scripting.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of containers (Docker) and interest in Kubernetes.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in DevOps.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
