Job Description:

Sourcebae is looking for an experienced L2 Support Engineer with expertise in the NetSapiens platform. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with Linux systems, core networking principles, and VoIP/SIP technologies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2 support for the NetSapiens platform and related infrastructure
  • Perform configuration reviews and implement changes based on standards and best practices
  • Troubleshoot NetSapiens Admin UI, Manager Portal, and phone provisioning issues
  • Handle high-priority tickets and escalate appropriately
  • Manage and support distributed MySQL databases (optional)
  • Troubleshoot QoS issues and legal intercepts/recordings
  • Install Linux updates and apply feature/maintenance releases
  • Collaborate with clients to implement and optimize solutions
  • Analyze system performance and maintain resource efficiency
  • Perform ongoing support and enhancement of platform performance

Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of Linux operating systems
  • Solid grasp of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and SIP
  • Hands-on experience in VoIP, telephony systems
  • MySQL management (preferred)
  • Troubleshooting network and server issues in real-time environments

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Strong problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to handle after-hours work when necessary
