Role Overview: Cloud Software Engineer Intern

SLB is looking for a Cloud Software Engineer Intern for a 12-month internship starting Summer 2026.
You will work within the FDPlan team, contributing to a cloud-native application built on the Delfi™ digital platform.
FDPlan enables end-to-end workflows using integrated data sources, helping customers optimize decision-making and maximize asset value through powerful analysis and visualization tools.

This internship provides exposure to modern cloud technologies, full-stack development, and real-world engineering challenges in the global energy-tech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud-native web applications for the FDPlan platform.
• Build rich and interactive features used for critical business decision-making.
• Maintain existing features relied upon by global clients.
• Contribute to backend development using Golang.
• Assist with frontend development using Angular and TypeScript.
• Gain exposure to industry-leading tools and platforms:
  • Python
  • Dataiku
  • Data Visualization frameworks
  • Docker & Kubernetes
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
  • Computer Science
  • Software Engineering
  • Or related technical fields
• Familiarity with TypeScript or Angular.
• Experience with one or more programming languages:
  • C#, Java, or Python
• Exposure to Golang is highly desirable.
