Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Linux-based GPU-enabled VDI platforms
• Ensure stable operations of NICE DCV, EnginFrame, SLURM, and desktop services
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Ansible
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management
• Ensure system security, scalability, performance optimization, and reliability
• Collaborate with HPC and infrastructure engineering teams
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, SOPs, and deployment workflows

Required Competencies

• 2–8 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with Rocky Linux or RHEL
• Proven automation & IaC expertise (Ansible preferred)
• Strong Bash scripting skills (Python is an advantage)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, GitLab)
• Understanding of X11, desktop environments (Xfce4, GNOME), and remote display protocols
• Solid knowledge of networking, security hardening, and monitoring
• Ability to design scalable and maintainable infrastructure
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently

Nice to Have

• Experience in HPC environments and SLURM workload manager
• Hands-on experience with NICE DCV, EnginFrame, Open OnDemand, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with Docker, Podman
• Experience with Prometheus-based monitoring and observability tools
