Role Overview

As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with stakeholders to optimize performance, reduce costs, and ensure enterprise-grade security for critical workloads.

This role requires strong expertise in Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tools to deliver scalable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement Azure cloud infrastructure solutions with scalability and reliability.
• Manage and optimize Azure resources for cost efficiency and high performance.
• Support cloud migration projects including planning, execution, and post-migration activities.
• Implement services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Sentinel, and Defender.
• Automate infrastructure deployments using Azure Bicep, Terraform, Azure CLI, and DevOps pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure high availability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and other monitoring tools.
• Enforce cloud security best practices in compliance with industry standards.
• Participate in on-call support for managed services customers.
• Contribute to developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and architecture standards.

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience with Azure DevOps and IaC (Bicep, Terraform).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of networking, identity management (AD, Entra ID), and Azure Landing Zone architecture.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and cloud security frameworks.
• Version control experience with Git.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications: AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, AZ-500.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, Atlassian Jira.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
