Job Description:
Siemens EDA is hiring freshers and early professionals for the role of Member of Technical Staff. The role involves developing high-performance circuit simulation tools, working on numerical algorithms, and contributing to Analog FastSPICE™ (AFS), the world’s fastest nanometer-accurate circuit verification platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance core circuit simulator accuracy, performance, and capacity
- Maintain and improve compatibility with other simulators
- Identify bottlenecks and optimize performance for large circuits
- Debug and resolve functional issues related to circuit simulation
Required Skills:
- Strong background in C++ and Linux
- Proficiency in memory optimization and high-performance data structures
- Knowledge of multithreading programming
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good to Have:
- Coursework in Numerical Analysis, EDA, Machine Learning, Analog Circuit Analysis, Computer Architecture, or Compiler Design
- Experience with Matlab
- 1-2 years of industry experience in software development for engineering applications
