Team:

The Product Security team enables ServiceNow engineers to build-in security throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SSDL). The DevSecOps team integrates and maintains security services to simplify security activities for thousands of internal customers.

Role Overview:

As a Software Engineer in the DevSecOps team, you will be responsible for deploying, integrating, and maintaining security tools to support Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), Software Composition Analysis (SCA), and Enterprise Container Security functions across ServiceNow. You will also assist in maintaining and improving the tooling used by the team and work closely with engineering teams to deploy scalable containerized system images for application security toolchains.

• Support DevSecOps engineering services across different security domains.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a development (Java, Python, JavaScript) operations environment, focusing on security tools.
• 2+ years of scripting experience (e.g., Groovy, Python).
• Experience with Cloud Native technologies (Containers, Kubernetes) and operations tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).
• Experience with SAST, DAST, and SCA tools such as Fortify or Venari.
• Participation in software engineering tasks across the entire application lifecycle.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in leveraging AI for process automation, decision-making, or problem-solving.
• Knowledge of static and dynamic application security testing and software composition analysis.
