About the Role

As a Trainee Network Security Engineer, you will be involved in implementing and managing network devices, configuring network protocols, and ensuring network performance and security. You’ll work hands-on with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls, and develop your skills using real-world tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches
• Set up LAN and WAN topologies
• Configure TCP/IP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, and other network protocols
• Manage firewalls and ACLs
• Monitor network health using CLI and SNMP tools
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and ensure network uptime

Required Skills and Qualifications

• CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, OSI model, protocols
• Hands-on experience with Cisco CLI and network monitoring tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
