Role Overview – Cloud Engineer

This is not a traditional graduate or IT support role. Searce is building an elite team of Cloud Transformation Engineers who work directly with strategic enterprise customers.

You will diagnose complex infrastructure and application challenges, design cloud-native architectures, and lead modernization initiatives using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and AI-powered tools.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Infrastructure Modernization

• Analyze legacy infrastructure and applications to identify performance, scalability, and security gaps
• Design and execute cloud migration and modernization strategies
• Build secure, scalable, and highly available solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Cloud-Native Architecture

• Architect and implement cloud-native applications
• Prioritize security, performance, reliability, and cost optimization
• Apply distributed systems principles in real-world enterprise environments

DevOps, IaC & SRE Practices

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Embed DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to improve delivery speed and system resilience

Automation & AI Acceleration

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational workflows
• Leverage AI-powered tools for:
  • Code analysis and refactoring
  • Infrastructure provisioning
  • Security assessments and optimization

Eligibility & Experience

• Final year or recent graduate (0–1 years experience)
• B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science or related fields
• Strong academic record (top performers preferred)
• Passion for cloud engineering, distributed systems, and automation

Required Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals:
  • Operating Systems
  • Networking
  • Distributed Systems
• Foundational knowledge of Cloud Computing
  • Preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Terraform experience is a strong plus
• Knowledge of Docker & container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Scripting experience in Python or Go
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
