Role Overview – DevOps Engineer (Cloud & SaaS Operations)

We are seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to join our cloud operations team, responsible for managing our SaaS platform, APIs, and services. This role is critical to ensure uptime, reliability, performance, security, and observability across production systems.

The ideal candidate is passionate about CI/CD, infrastructure automation, cloud operations, and monitoring, and wants to contribute to a high-growth SaaS startup in India.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for applications and services using GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools
• Automate cloud operations, deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization tasks
• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation for complex environments
• Deploy, release, and configure production systems in a scalable, reliable manner
• Troubleshoot issues across applications, platforms, and cloud infrastructure
• Build observability tools, dashboards, and logging frameworks to monitor system health
• Evaluate emerging technologies and vendor solutions for integration
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Required Skills & Expertise

Core Cloud & DevOps Skills

• 2+ years of AWS DevOps and Cloud Operations experience
• Deep understanding of AWS services: EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, DynamoDB, IAM, CloudWatch
• Strong knowledge of networking, load balancing, security groups, and VPCs
• Hands-on experience in containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes)
• CI/CD pipeline development and automation experience (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Go

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience in automating deployments and maintaining production-grade systems

Monitoring & Observability

• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting tools: CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus
• Optimize system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure high availability

• Education: MCA or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related fields
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
