Job Description:

Join SAS's CloudOps Platform division to innovate and optimize cloud-native platforms for self-service analytics. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will work with a team building global-scale cloud systems using the latest in DevOps, automation, and containerization technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on designing and operating the SAS CloudOps platform
• Build automated workflows and self-service portals
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Cloud, and Azure
• Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Improve DevOps pipelines and operational efficiency
• Maintain architectural documentation and secure cloud operations

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Cloud, Ansible
• Strong knowledge of Terraform and GitHub Cloud
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation
• Understanding of cloud security and networking principles
• Troubleshooting skills across cloud-native environments

Nice to Have:

• API development and integration experience
• YAML or other IaC markup language knowledge
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow
• Security-by-design in cloud-native development
• Open-source debugging and code reading capabilities
