Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable technical solutions to meet business and technical needs.
• Develop and maintain ETL/data pipelines using modern tools.
• Optimize data processing performance.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate business needs into technical implementations.
• Document code and workflows for training and maintenance.
• Implement CI/CD for automated testing and deployment.
• Contribute to Sanofi’s standard data pipelines.
• Perform data gathering, wrangling, and large-scale data analysis.
• Conduct peer reviews and promote code quality.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and Sanofi standards.

Key Functional Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience with cross-functional collaboration and solving data architecture problems.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 4–5+ years in data engineering, BI, analytics, or similar roles.

Technical Skills

• Programming: Python, Shell scripting
• Data Tools: Spark, Scala, Informatica, IICS, Dbt
• Cloud: Experience in cloud platforms (Snowflake is a plus)
• Orchestration: Apache Airflow
• Databases: SQL, relational database concepts
• CI/CD: GitHub, test automation frameworks
• Bonus: Familiarity with life sciences industry, data mesh, real-time ingestion
