Job Description:

Collins Aerospace is hiring an Associate Engineer (Technical Publications) to create Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and other technical documentation for Actuation Systems such as Power Door Opening Systems (PDOS), Thrust Reverser Actuation Systems (TRAS), and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and revise technical publications such as CMMs, SBs, AMMs, SIL, and more.
• Work closely with product design and manufacturing teams to ensure accuracy in documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ATA/S1000D standards in technical documentation.
• Maintain project schedules, publication quality, and productivity improvements.

Skills & Requirements:

• Experience in technical writing tools (Framemaker, Arbortext Editor, S1000D, etc.).
• Knowledge of technical publication standards (ASD-STE 100, iSpec2200, S1000D, ATA100).
• Experience in illustration tools like Isodraw, 3DVIA, CATIA is an advantage.
• Strong mechanical engineering principles understanding.
• Good communication and editorial skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with hydraulic and electro-mechanical products.
• Familiarity with repair procedures, assembly/disassembly processes for aircraft actuation components.
• Knowledge of aerospace product compliance, qualification, and certification.
