Job Description:

Roche is looking for a Cloud & DevOps Engineer to join the Developer Platform Product Line team. This team supports the software development lifecycle across Roche globally, and this role specifically focuses on automating and streamlining DevOps pipelines in hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, On-prem).

You’ll work in a global team with experienced Cloud & DevOps professionals to deliver scalable, secure, and automated platforms that empower Roche’s internal developer community.

This is one of the high-paying IT fresher to experienced roles in Pune focused on automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage highly available platforms with thousands of users
• Develop system architecture diagrams and technical documentation
• Automate software delivery pipelines using CI/CD tools and DevSecOps best practices
• Collaborate with global teams across time zones and business units
• Continuously learn, upskill, and contribute to agile delivery of platform tools
• Champion automation practices and lean DevOps principles

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD
• Experience with SCM tools: Git, and repo managers like Artifactory/Nexus
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Rancher
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Packer, Ansible
• Experience in AWS, GCP, Azure, VMware/OpenStack hybrid clouds
• Programming/Scripting with Java, Python, Bash
• Secure infrastructure design: RBAC, IAM, secrets management
• Experience building DevOps platforms and internal tools
