About the Role

RightData is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Fresher DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines, work with cloud platforms, and manage infrastructure to enhance automation and deployment pipelines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to grow in the field of DevOps and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or others.
• Work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) to deploy and manage infrastructure.
• Maintain an inventory of infrastructure, licenses, and software for efficient tracking.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in cloud and infrastructure, ensure budgets are adhered to.
• Monitor system health and performance using AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Support the team in implementing best security practices in DevOps workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues to improve system reliability.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to enhance automation and deployment strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and their basic services.
• Understanding of infrastructure management, including software licensing and inventory tracking.
• Awareness of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.
• Basic knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation (preferred but not mandatory).
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or project experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Automation.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes (a plus but not required).

Education

• B.Tech/MTech/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
