About the Role
As a Junior Cloud Engineer - SRE, you will play a key role in automating and scaling infrastructure for AI SaaS products on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You’ll work with a high-performing team using Terraform, Kubernetes, Grafana, and GitLab to build reliable and observable systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP
• Deploy AI agents and auto-healing systems using Kubernetes
• Configure observability stacks using Grafana and Prometheus
• Automate CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Terraform
• Support and troubleshoot Linux/Windows servers and Docker containers
• Optimize cloud resources and conduct capacity planning
• Triage production issues using command-line tools and logs
• Contribute to best practices for high availability and monitoring

Required Skills

• 1+ year experience in DevOps or SRE roles
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes (preferably GKE)
• Proficiency with Linux (RedHat/CentOS/Alpine) and Windows Server
• Experience with GCP, Terraform, Packer, and IaC
• Observability tools: Grafana, Prometheus
• Scripting: Bash, Python, or Go
• CI/CD pipeline experience (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of protocols like HTTP, LDAP, SSL, SQL, XML

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to deploying AI Agents on public clouds
• Familiarity with SaaS environments and retail industry requirements
• Experience with auto-scaling and load balancing in production
• Understanding of SLOs, SLAs, and cloud cost optimization
