Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud-native, scalable, and reliable services.
• Implement developer tools, automation, and observability solutions.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Participate in production support, including 24/7 on-call rotation for incident management.
• Drive DevOps, cloud adoption, and inner sourcing strategies within ResMed.
• Research, design, test, and document solutions to complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate across global teams to ensure alignment and shared ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years professional software development experience.
• 1+ year of experience with public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud concepts.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, or React.
• Knowledge of source control and CI/CD tools (GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins).
• Understanding of test practices and automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, serverless architecture.
• Production experience managing Kubernetes clusters in public cloud environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Datadog, Splunk, ELK).
• Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, on-call, and incident management experience.
