As a Platform Engineer, you will directly contribute to platform stability, reliability, and user experience by engaging with internal and external users and collaborating with product and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced troubleshooting support for GreyMatter features (Detect, Investigate, Respond) and integrations (e.g., Google Chronicle, Microsoft, Crowdstrike)
• Optimize platform and integration performance across customers
• Craft API requests for testing and navigate vendor/internal docs
• Handle high-impact customer escalations for platform issues
• Investigate, reproduce, and extend bug reports with actionable insights
• Join war rooms for live incident triage and platform recovery
• Proactively investigate and escalate system failures
• Collaborate with development and QA to test solutions in staging
• Submit monitoring and observability improvements

Requirements:

• Strong troubleshooting mindset and attention to detail
• Familiarity with security platforms like Chronicle, Microsoft Defender, Crowdstrike, etc.
• Strong communication skills across teams (Product, Dev, Support)
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments (e.g., incident response)
• Experience working with REST APIs, staging environments, and production issues
• Passion for improving system health, monitoring, and incident prevention

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in platform engineering or DevOps
• Background in SaaS application troubleshooting
• Scripting or light automation for platform testing and validation
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and observability frameworks
