About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer (Observability) with hands-on experience in observability tools and a deep understanding of application performance monitoring (APM) for cloud environments. You’ll be designing and implementing monitoring strategies for Java-based backend services, React-based frontends, and containerized applications deployed on AWS EC2 and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Coralogix.
• Configure and maintain APM solutions to optimize Java and React applications.
• Build and maintain custom dashboards, alerts, and metrics for application and infrastructure monitoring.
• Collaborate with development and SRE teams to integrate observability best practices into CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish standards for logging, tracing, and metrics collection for distributed systems.
• Conduct anomaly detection, root cause analysis, and automate incident response processes.
• Continuously optimize monitoring strategies to ensure comprehensive visibility with minimal overhead.
• Troubleshoot performance issues across application layers.
• Ensure compliance with security and operational best practices for observability data.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in observability and monitoring.
• Proficiency in Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and APM solutions.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services like EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, and RDS.
• Experience monitoring and optimizing Java backend services and React-based frontends.
• Expertise in monitoring containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Knowledge of distributed tracing and metrics collection for complex applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating observability workflows into automated deployments.
• Strong problem-solving skills for performance bottlenecks in large-scale systems.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and deliver actionable insights.

• Experience implementing Coralogix observability for AWS environments.
• Exposure to DevOps and SRE principles, including incident management.
• Knowledge of DORA metrics to monitor and improve deployment practices.
• Scripting or development skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
