Radiant is a clean energy startup based in El Segundo, CA. We're building the world’s first portable, zero-emissions 1MW nuclear microreactor – a climate-friendly alternative to diesel generators. Our mission is to deliver reliable, carbon-free energy to remote locations, critical facilities like hospitals, and disaster zones. 🔧 Role: Software Engineer – New Graduate

We're looking for a highly motivated software engineer who is passionate about simulation, automation, and systems development. You'll collaborate across disciplines – mechanical, electrical, and nuclear – to support the software that drives critical research and engineering milestones.

🛠 Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for simulation tools and workflow automation
• Integrate third-party simulation suites
• Develop internal tools that support mission-critical nuclear analysis
• Build production-level software for data storage and hardware automation

---

✅ Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, or related field
• Proficiency in Python, C++, C#, or any object-oriented language
• Knowledge of Git and software development best practices

✨ Preferred (Bonus) Skills

• Strong communication and self-motivation
• Experience with simulation or physics engines
• Familiarity with hardware-software systems
• Experience with distributed systems and software design patterns
• Interest in physics, electrical engineering, and reactor systems

📍 Additional Requirements

• Must work 100% onsite at Radiant HQ, El Segundo, CA
• Available for occasional extended hours/weekend work
• US Citizens or Permanent Residents only
• No visa sponsorship available (due to US export controls)
