Role Overview

Position: Trainee Automation Engineer
Reporting To: Automation Architect
Department: Cloud – DEM BU

This role involves the entire monitoring lifecycle, including understanding requirements, creating/reviewing scripts, production deployment, and real-time maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain automation bots/scripts with focus on QA.
• Drive innovative automation solutions to enhance QA processes.
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to meet expectations.
• Deliver in a target-oriented and time-sensitive environment (24x7).
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and self-motivation.
• Explore and upgrade with new technologies.
• Work on applications across platforms like iOS, Android, and major browsers.
• Open to travel to client locations if required.

Key Deliverables & KPIs

• Resolve and deploy tickets per day.
• Maintain accuracy and timely resolution of tickets.
• Follow organizational processes, attendance, and leave discipline.
• Participate in organizational training and certifications.

Education & Eligibility

• Degree Required: BE/BTech (IT), BSc/MSc (IT) or equivalent
• Minimum Academic Score: 60% throughout
• Experience: 0 to 6 months
• Certifications: Must clear DEM tech certifications and on-the-job assessments

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of Core Java or Python
• Familiarity with Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, AutoIT, TestNG, Sikuli, HTML, JavaScript, DOM, SQL

---

Soft Skills

• Effective verbal and written communication
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
• High adaptability and eagerness to learn
