• Storage Infrastructure Design: Architect storage solutions for performance, scalability, and availability.
• Storage Implementation: Install, configure, and deploy SAN, NAS, and object storage platforms.
• Data Migration: Execute seamless data migrations with minimal disruption.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize storage performance.
• Backup & Recovery: Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Storage Security: Implement security measures, including access controls and encryption.
• Capacity Planning: Analyze storage utilization and forecast future needs.
• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Resolve storage-related issues efficiently.
• Monitoring: Maintain storage monitoring systems for proactive issue detection.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive storage configurations and policies.
• Collaboration: Work with IT, network, and application teams for seamless integration.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors for procurement and technical support.

• Storage Uptime: >99.9% availability
• Mean Time to Repair (MTTR): <2 hours
• First-Time Fix Rate (FTFR): >90%
• Performance Optimization: <5% latency, >90% IOPS target

Required Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Associate degree or diploma in Computer Networking or IT
• Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of SAN, NAS, RAID, and object storage
  • Experience with storage area networks (Fiber Channel, iSCSI)
  • Proficiency in storage management tools (EMC Unity, NetApp, etc.)
  • Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security best practices
  • Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, ServiceNow
  • Experience with scripting (Python, Perl, Ansible)
