Job Description:
Provenir is a global fintech innovator delivering cutting-edge decisioning and risk analytics solutions to financial institutions. We are looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer with hands-on experience in managing high-performance SaaS platforms hosted on AWS Cloud, along with deep skills in DevOps automation, cloud observability, and production Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

  • Manage and support cloud-hosted SaaS platforms on AWS
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance across multi-vendor cloud environments
  • Maintain Linux-based production systems with performance tuning and system monitoring

Technical Issue Resolution:

  • Address incidents and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure, hosting, and networking
  • Collaborate across product, DevOps, and support teams to maintain uptime

Automation & CI/CD:

  • Automate infrastructure deployment using tools like Terraform, Jenkins, and scripting languages
  • Streamline tasks such as backups, monitoring, and scaling

Cloud Observability & Optimization:

  • Monitor cloud infrastructure using tools like DataDog, NewRelic, Splunk, Prometheus
  • Detect and resolve performance bottlenecks in real-time

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, automation workflows, and infrastructure changes
  • Provide performance insights and RCA reports to stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6–10 years in cloud support or DevOps roles
  • Strong Linux admin skills including JVM tuning, patching, and shell scripting
  • Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, IAM, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, CloudWatch)
  • Experience in troubleshooting and RCA documentation
  • Strong background in service operations, ticket handling, and stakeholder collaboration
  • Proven skills with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and containers
  • Experience with monitoring tools like DataDog, Grafana, and Prometheus

Preferred Skills:

  • SaaS application management on cloud
  • Experience with infrastructure change management
  • Kubernetes and containerization for cloud-native deployments
  • Exposure to ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management
