About the Role

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and support our cloud-based deployments and CI/CD pipelines. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with basic AWS knowledge and a passion for automation, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code.

In this role, you'll work closely with our DevOps lead/team to support and maintain deployment processes, focusing on AWS services such as EKS, Cognito, IAM, EC2, and S3.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with deployment of applications using AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)
• Manage basic AWS services such as EC2, IAM, S3, CloudWatch
• Maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines in GitHub and AWS (e.g., AWS Amplify)
• Work with YAML files and CloudFormation stacks
• Perform basic system administration tasks and environment setup
• Monitor and document infrastructure health and deployment changes
• Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth deployments and releases

Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of AWS services (IAM, EC2, S3, Cognito, EKS, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems
• Familiarity with Jenkins and Terraform
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Ability to read/write basic YAML and Shell scripts
• Good communication skills and eagerness to learn DevOps tools and practices
