About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at PriceLabs. You will be responsible for deploying and managing databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis, and setting up systems like RabbitMQ and Kafka. Your role will also include maintaining workflow processing tools like Apache Airflow, Apache Flink, and Apache Spark.

In addition, you will:

• Administer and manage Linux-based systems (e.g., Ubuntu, Debian).
• Develop automation scripts and pipelines for infrastructure consistency.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, utilizing Docker for containerized deployments.
• Work with both cloud-based (managed) and on-premises (self-hosted) infrastructure.
• Write and maintain Python scripts for system orchestration and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, resilient systems.
• Adapt new technologies and tools into the infrastructure stack.

About the Team

The Data Engineering team at PriceLabs is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that handles large volumes of data, ensuring data quality and efficiency. As a DevOps Engineer, you'll work closely with both Engineering and Data Science teams to maintain and optimize systems that support the company’s revenue management solutions.

About You

You should have:

• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in database management.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn new systems and technologies.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to take on diverse responsibilities.

Good to have:

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools and practices for automating deployments of databases and workflows.
• Basic understanding of data analysis techniques and tools.
