About the Role
Join Point72’s Technology Infrastructure Team — the backbone that powers mission-critical applications, large-scale cloud services, and global collaboration tools. This role focuses on Windows System Administration, VMware Virtualization, and Cloud Services (Azure & AWS) to maintain high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users and enterprise systems.
• Perform system upgrades, security patches, and performance optimization.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and user account administration.
• Support network and server infrastructure in collaboration with global IT teams.
• Monitor and optimize VMware vSphere or ESXi virtual environments.
• Maintain compliance with IT security standards and company policies.
• Create technical documentation, user guides, and provide training for Windows tools.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical IT incidents.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record as a Windows Support Engineer or similar role.
• Expertise in Windows 10, Windows Server 2016/2019, and Active Directory Management.
• Experience with VMware virtualization technologies (vSphere, ESXi).
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP networking.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or AWS Cloud Services.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial services IT environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and enterprise change management.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-security environments.
