Job Description:
PierSight is hiring a Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to join our elite SpaceTech team. If you're experienced in multi-cloud deployments, Kubernetes architecture, Terraform automation, and cloud-agnostic DevOps, this is your chance to work on mission-critical satellite intelligence platforms in one of the most high-paying DevOps jobs in India.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Ownership & Cost Optimization:

• Architect portable infrastructure with open-source DevOps tools
• Implement cloud-agnostic autoscaling and compute/storage optimizations
• Containerize services using Docker and deploy via Kubernetes

Security & Deployment Policies:

• Abstract RBAC, networking, and identity controls from cloud vendors
• Enforce secure rollout strategies and multi-cloud SaaS compliance
• Define secure, high-availability CI/CD pipelines

Observability & Monitoring:

• Implement observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki)
• Manage SLAs, SLOs, and centralized alerting/logging pipelines

Database & Data Management:

• Manage PostgreSQL/PostGIS, MongoDB, and object storage (S3-compatible)
• Set up replication, backups, and disaster recovery plans

CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Build reusable CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD
• Use Terraform & Ansible for cloud/on-prem infrastructure provisioning
• Deploy workloads via Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid cloud setups
• Strong in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and cloud automation tools
• Deep understanding of IAM, RBAC, secure API gateways, and DevSecOps
• Expertise in CI/CD design and GitOps workflows
• Experience with observability platforms (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki)
• Hands-on with PostgreSQL/PostGIS, MongoDB, Redis, and object storage

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing on-prem K8s clusters (k3s, RKE2, OpenShift)
• Knowledge of cloud abstraction platforms and serverless architecture
• Familiarity with edge computing and event-driven systems
