Job Description
Persistent Systems is hiring experienced Java Developers with strong expertise in backend technologies and microservices architecture. The role involves full lifecycle development of enterprise-grade systems for clients across Banking, Healthcare, and Tech sectors.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, reliable, and high-performing backend systems using Java 8, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
- Participate in architecture discussions and decision-making
- Contribute to full software development lifecycle – coding, unit testing, deployment, support
- Optimize existing code and identify improvements
- Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines
Skills Required
- Strong programming in Core Java 8+
- Hands-on with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate
- Experience in RESTful Web Services and Microservices Architecture
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, RDBMS, and writing optimized SQL queries
- Familiarity with Terraform, AWS Services (EC2, S3, CloudWatch)
- Basic DevOps understanding – Build & Deployment tools
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines
- Cloud-native development experience
- Docker/Kubernetes exposure
