As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will:

• Support enterprise-scale cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes).
• Handle alerts, incidents, service requests, and infrastructure changes.
• Work directly with global clients, developers, and stakeholders.
• Leverage world-class cloud monitoring, DevOps, and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage customer environments hosted on Pega Cloud.
• Handle alerts, incidents, and service requests within SLA.
• Perform operational tasks: restart services, manage logs, increase storage, whitelist IPs, deploy updates, run queries/scripts.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive operational tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Provisioning, Product Support).
• Participate in on-call rotation including weekends.

Who You Are

• 3–4 years of technical support/operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
• Skilled in Linux administration, AWS, Kubernetes, Cloud monitoring.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer handling skills.
• Comfortable in fast-paced enterprise environments with distributed systems.
• Passionate about customer success and continuous improvement.

What You've Accomplished

• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, Docker.
• Experience in monitoring tools (New Relic, Datadog).
• Knowledge of RDS PostgreSQL, Tomcat, Java application support.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and networking (DNS, VPN).
• CKA/K8s certification is a plus.
