About the Role

The Parallel Wireless Professional Services (PS) team is looking for a System Engineer Intern to perform remote customer network deployment and testing. This role interfaces with service provider customers and internal teams such as Technical Support, Systems Engineering, and Development Engineering.

What You Need

• Minimum 0-1 years focus on Telecommunications (RAN/RF Engineering preferred), Data Networking, Computer Science, or AI/ML
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Focus on RAN or RF Engineering is a major plus
• Familiarity with LAN/WAN, Routing protocols, TCP/IP, QoS, Tunneling, and security protocols
• Unix/Linux systems knowledge
• Kubernetes, AWS, server virtualization, and cloud experience a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to understand technical issues
• Team player with ability to handle shared responsibilities
• Adaptability to changing environments and managing parallel time-critical tasks

What You Will Do

• Work as part of System Engineering team in Bangalore
• Plan, design, implement, and support Mobile Radio Networks
• Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software technical problems
• Conduct system integration of OpenRAN DU/CU devices in the mobile network
• Understand customer infrastructures and provide expertise and consulting solutions
• Analyze system logs, KPI performance issues, and production environment
• Support field team with hardware installation
• Install software and commission radio nodes
• Author and present customer-facing presentations and technical materials
