Job Description

Oracle is hiring an Associate Consultant in the Java and PL/SQL space to work within its Banking Domain Consulting Practice. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with hands-on technical skills looking to scale their consulting career and work with top-tier enterprise clients across banking and financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality solutions using Oracle applications, tools, and cloud technology
• Develop and customize applications using Java/J2EE, PL/SQL, and web services
• Design scalable UI/UX, interfaces, integrations, reports, and visualizations
• Participate in product testing, deployment, and documentation
• Assist senior consultants and project managers in executing client-facing solutions
• Use Agile/Waterfall methodologies for end-to-end implementation

Must-Have Skills

• Proficiency in Java, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, SOAP/REST Web Services
• Familiarity with microservices, containerization, and cloud-native technologies
• Hands-on experience in tools: Eclipse, JIRA, Git, Maven, JMeter, Ant
• UI frameworks: Angular, React, Knockout, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Application servers: WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss
• Middleware knowledge: JMS, MQ, OSB, and security protocols (PKI, SSO, SAML)
• Strong problem-solving and client engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in core banking products (FLEXCUBE, TEMENOS, FIS, TCS Bancs, etc.)
• Domain knowledge in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance)
• Prior experience in end-to-end product implementation
• Understanding of mockup and UI prototyping tools
• Strong documentation, testing, and deployment knowledge
