About the Role
Operisoft Technologies is hiring a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with 1–3 years of experience. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about cloud computing, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS services. The right candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS CodePipeline, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes, and a good understanding of cloud security, database management, and infrastructure as code (IaC).

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage scalable, reliable, and secure AWS cloud solutions.
• Automate software delivery with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor systems using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Administer relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Collaborate with developers and operations teams to streamline deployment.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and reduce downtime.
• Continuously evaluate and integrate new DevOps tools and practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of AWS: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, etc.
• Experience with DevOps tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), networking, and cloud architecture.
• AWS certifications (preferred): DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect.
• Good understanding of cloud security, cost optimization, and system reliability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools: ELK Stack, Splunk, Datadog.
• Awareness of compliance standards like GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA.
