Job Description
We are hiring a Cloud DNS Engineer to join our remote team. You will play a vital role in managing and optimizing DNS configurations across cloud platforms, on-premises systems, and external services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot DNS across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem systems
• Configure and maintain AWS Route 53, Azure DNS, Google Cloud DNS
• Administer Microsoft AD-integrated DNS, Bind, and DNSMASQ
• Work with external hosting providers: Akamai, OpenDNS, UltraDNS
• Handle IPv4/IPv6 configuration and client support
• Set up and manage DHCP configurations
• Investigate domains using whois, DomainTools, etc.
• Manage domain registrations and hosting (e.g., CSC, UltraDNS)
• Use DDI tools like Micetro, Bluecat, Infoblox, or Efficient IP
• Run POCs and manage stakeholder projects
• Monitor DNS traffic, load balancer, and firewall interactions
• Use tools like LogicMonitor, SCOM, Cribl for monitoring

Required Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

Preferred Certifications

• Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Network Engineer
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience with DNS environments (cloud + on-prem)
• Strong troubleshooting skills in DNS and networking (IPv4 a must, IPv6 a plus)
• Experience with domain registrars and DDI tools
• Knowledge of DHCP, DNSMASQ
• Familiar with monitoring systems and traffic analysis
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
