Job Description:
We are seeking a Cloud DNS Engineer to manage DNS environments across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), on-premises solutions, and third-party services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage & troubleshoot DNS across AWS Route 53, Azure DNS, Google Cloud DNS
- Oversee Microsoft DNS (AD-integrated), Bind, DNSMASQ
- Work with hosting services: Akamai, OpenDNS, UltraDNS
- Maintain IPv4/IPv6 configuration
- Handle DHCP configurations and related troubleshooting
- Investigate domain ownership using whois, DomainTools
- Manage domain registrations, DDI tools like Micetro, Infoblox, Bluecat
- Collaborate on POCs, project delivery, and cross-team coordination
- Monitor traffic using LogicMonitor, SCOM, Cribl
Required Certifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
Good to Have:
- Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Network Engineer
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
Required Skills:
- Expert in DNS setup, maintenance, troubleshooting
- Deep knowledge of IPv4, CIDR, and familiarity with IPv6
- Registrar/Domain hosting platforms like CSC, UltraDNS
- Proficiency in DDI & monitoring tools
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
