Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer at Omnissa, you will contribute to advancing the reliability, scalability, and automation of Horizon Cloud’s global infrastructure. Your work will focus on CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, observability, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices—enhancing DevOps automation and developer efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to DevOps and SRE initiatives for Horizon Cloud infrastructure
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD
• Implement observability, logging, and metrics with Elastic Stack (ELK), Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana
• Manage infrastructure via Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform) and related tools
• Operate and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters in production
• Maintain and evolve Azure cloud infrastructure
• Automate routine tasks and workflows using Python and scripting tools
• Apply security best practices including WAF, firewall configurations, audit logging, and compliance
• Collaborate with development teams to build resilient, self‑healing systems

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Python or equivalent scripting languages
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitOps/ArgoCD)
• Strong skills in Kubernetes and Helm
• Solid experience with Azure or public cloud platforms
• Proficiency in Terraform (IaC)
• Experience with observability and monitoring stacks (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Strong understanding of SRE principles and incident response
• Excellent troubleshooting of distributed systems, networking, and cloud infrastructure
• Security‑first mindset with infrastructure security best practices
