Job Description

oCode Technologies is looking for a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key player, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring smooth server operations. You will collaborate with development teams, system administrators, and stakeholders to enhance software delivery processes and improve system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using industry best practices.
• Automate and streamline the software delivery pipeline, including CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring.
• Implement and maintain cloud-based solutions for high availability and scalability.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, resolving resource utilization issues.
• Develop and maintain configuration management tools for infrastructure as code.
• Manage containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Support development teams with infrastructure needs and deployment processes.
• Enhance system monitoring, alerting, and logging for proactive issue resolution.
• Implement robust security practices in collaboration with security teams.
• Stay updated with emerging DevOps technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Splunk).
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting in a distributed environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
