Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Terraform Developer to design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions. You will leverage HashiCorp Configuration Language (HCL) and Terraform best practices to provision, manage, and scale infrastructure across various cloud platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about infrastructure automation, code quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Terraform Scripting

• Write, maintain, and optimize Terraform configurations using HCL.
• Create reusable and modular Terraform modules for infrastructure deployments.
• Ensure consistent and repeatable infrastructure provisioning across environments.

Infrastructure Design & Implementation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate architecture requirements.
• Develop secure, cost-effective, and scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Integrate Terraform workflows with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

Monitoring & Maintenance

• Manage Terraform state to ensure consistency and prevent configuration drift.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly.
• Review and audit Terraform code for improvements in performance, security, and reliability.

Documentation & Training

• Produce clear, concise documentation for Terraform configurations and modules.
• Educate team members on Terraform best practices.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing on IaC, Terraform, and HCL updates.

Best Practices & Governance

• Enforce compliance and governance through policy-as-code mechanisms (e.g., Sentinel, OPA).
• Stay current on Terraform and HCL features to improve efficiency and maintainability.
• Champion Infrastructure as Code principles within the organization.

Qualifications & Skills

Terraform Expertise

• Proven experience writing and managing Terraform scripts in production environments.
• Deep understanding of Terraform core concepts, HCL syntax, modules, and state management.

Cloud Experience

• Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying scalable cloud architectures.

DevOps & CI/CD

• Familiar with DevOps principles: version control (Git), CI/CD.
• Experience integrating Terraform with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

Scripting & Programming

• Intermediate scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Ability to automate tasks and manage complex infrastructure logic.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Preferred).
• Terraform certification(s) or relevant cloud certifications (Nice to have).
