Job Description:
Nutanix is seeking a passionate Systems Reliability Engineer II with strong expertise in networking, virtualization, and cloud technologies to join a dynamic hybrid team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects while driving exceptional customer support and service reliability in a highly collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues ensuring high customer satisfaction and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify product defects and recommend service enhancements
• Analyze customer data to mitigate risks and improve product reliability
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning
• Gather and advocate for customer feedback in product improvements
• Contribute to internal and external knowledge bases for ongoing improvement
• Build strong partnerships with technology allies (VMware, Citrix, Microsoft)
• Provide support coverage on a rotational basis, including off-hours as needed

Work Arrangement:

• Hybrid model: 2-3 days per week in-office collaboration, remainder remote
• No travel required, enabling strong work-life balance

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4-6 years of experience in Systems Reliability Engineering or related roles
• Strong troubleshooting skills in VMware ESXi virtualization, Layer 2/3 networking, and Linux systems
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud technologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication for cross-team collaboration
• Customer-focused mindset with dedication to high-quality support
• Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge initiatives
• Experience with partner technologies such as VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft
