Major Duties:

• Attend classroom, e-learning, and SME training sessions as per the schedule.
• Participate in group discussions and classroom activities.
• Demonstrate and present learned concepts.
• Execute test cases during product development and client implementations.
• Assist the production team with day-to-day tasks.
• Execute testing of new system functionalities and perform regression testing of proprietary software.
• Document bugs and communicate issues clearly to technology vendors.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

Accountabilities:

• Comply with the regulatory standards within which Northern Trust operates.
• Exercise due care and diligence in managing assigned tasks.
• Maintain proper standards of conduct and integrity in business practices.
• Report to Team Leader/Section Manager.

• Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication is crucial.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify issues in testing and documentation.
• Organizational Skills: Prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Numerical and Logical Skills: Strong analytical abilities.

• Financial Background: Knowledge of finance and investment banking.
• SDLC Lifecycle: Understanding of software development and testing cycles.
• Agile Processes: Knowledge of agile methodologies and automation testing.

Qualification Criteria:

• Degree Required: B.Sc (Computer Science), BCA, or related fields.
• Basic knowledge in finance and investment banking is preferred.
• Freshers with a keen interest in the financial services industry are encouraged to apply.
