About the Role:
NEXTASTRA is currently seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic technology team at our Pune office. This is an exciting opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and automation.

You will work closely with senior engineers and development teams to support CI/CD pipelines, automate workflows, and ensure high availability and scalability of our systems. This role provides hands-on learning in modern DevOps tools, methodologies, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup, configuration, and management of CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and maintain infrastructure health and performance.
• Support containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Help manage version control, build automation, and deployment tools.
• Participate in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Work with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the SDLC.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Linux systems and command-line tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of scripting (Bash, Python, or similar languages).
• Understanding of Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced DevOps environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or academic project experience in DevOps or Cloud Computing.
• Exposure to tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Awareness of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
