Linux System Administrator – Neural IT | Navi Mumbai

Location: Airoli, Navi Mumbai
Industry: CRM / Call Centres / BPO / IT
Designation: System Administrator
Experience: 2–3 Years
Qualification: Diploma / Any Graduate / HSC
Shift Timings: Day/Night Shift
Salary: As per industry standards
Key Skills Required
- Proficient with Linux system and network administration
- Experience in installation, configuration, and support of Linux servers
- Familiar with Squid Proxy, Samba, FTP, NFS, and DNS
- Understanding of Linux clusters, compilers, schedulers, and HPC applications
- Knowledge of enterprise environments and datacenter operations
- Skilled in writing shell scripts
- Experience in server log management
- Comfortable with system administration tasks including storage, memory, hardware/software configuration
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification is a plus
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts
Roles & Responsibilities
- Linux server installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Writing and maintaining shell scripts
- Hardware repair and system diagnostics
- Log monitoring and proactive issue resolution
- Storage and memory management, hardware/software setup
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure uptime and stability
- Maintain documentation for configurations and processes
