Overview

A leading IT services organization is hiring an Azure Cloud Engineer (Level 1) in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–3 years of IT experience who want to build their career in Azure Cloud Operations, RBAC, Azure Networking, and Cloud Infrastructure Management.
You will work with global teams supporting day-to-day Azure operations, troubleshooting, and provisioning of cloud resources across mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision and decommission Azure Virtual Machines (Windows/Linux).
• Perform VM monitoring, performance checks, and OS patching.
• Assist with backup and restore operations.
• Create and manage NSGs, UDRs, and firewall whitelisting (with guidance).
• Configure and monitor VNet Peering and Site-to-Site VPN connectivity.
• Provision and decommission Azure Load Balancers, Application Gateways, and Azure Front Door (basic setup).
• Renew and update SSL/TLS certificates under supervision.
• Support provisioning and troubleshooting of Azure Web Apps and Azure Function Apps.
• Configure alerts, dashboards, and metrics in Azure Monitor.
• Perform initial troubleshooting for connectivity, performance, and access issues.
• Provide RBAC Support: assign users to built-in roles, validate permissions, and escalate IAM issues.
• Document operational tasks and regularly update runbooks.

Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant IT experience (Windows Server / Networking preferred).
• Basic knowledge of Azure IaaS (VMs, Networking, Load Balancers).
• Understanding of NSGs, VNets, VPNs, Azure Firewall, and RBAC.
• Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and KQL basics.
• ITIL, AZ-900, or AZ-104 certification preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
