Job Description:

Nasdaq is looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join their Chennai technology center. This is an opportunity to work in an innovative FinTech environment focused on regulatory reporting solutions. You will develop and maintain software for the Nasdaq AxiomSL Controller View platform, used by clients globally.

You will work closely with colleagues from various teams to design, develop, and deliver enterprise software solutions while exploring new technologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical problems
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance optimization
• Develop enterprise applications for the AxiomSL Controller View platform
• Conduct performance testing and resolve multi-threaded issues

Required Skills (Essential):

• 1–3 years of experience using Java for business logic
• Strong object-oriented design and development skills
• Experience with multi-threaded systems and performance improvement
• Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills (Desirable):

• Knowledge of AxiomSL Controller View platform
• Experience with web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, ReactJS, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud platforms
• Understanding of Agile practices and CI/CD
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
