About Namma Yatri

Namma Yatri is a SaaS/MaaS platform revolutionizing urban transportation by empowering drivers and enhancing passenger experiences. Our platform supports seamless ride-hailing and integrates with open networks like ONDC to build a multi-modal mobility ecosystem.

With over 2 lakh daily rides, we aim to provide affordable, convenient, and accessible transport solutions across autos, buses, metro, and cabs.

Job Role: Software Development Engineer

Experience: 0-5 years
Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata

What You'll Be Doing?

1) Frontend Development:

• Developing user-friendly UI/UX for seamless ride booking
• Integrating SDKs with third-party apps
• Enhancing multi-modal, multi-tenant applications

2) Backend Engineering:

• Developing business logic for ride-hailing services
• Cost optimization for Maps & third-party APIs
• Contributing to NammaDSL (Domain-Specific Language)

3) Infrastructure Management:

• Ensuring 99% availability for global mobility services
• Implementing Redis layer to reduce database load
• Developing Infrastructure DSL for large-scale management

Preferred Language Skills (Not Mandatory)

• Bangalore: Kannada
• Chennai: Tamil
• Kolkata: Bengali

Language proficiency is a plus for understanding operational challenges but not a requirement.
