Role Overview

MVN Engineering Services is seeking a System Administrator to manage and maintain IT infrastructure, support engineering teams, and ensure smooth operation of servers, networks, and applications. This role involves both Windows and networking administration, as well as supporting engineering software and ensuring security and backup processes.

The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting, managing IT systems, and collaborating with fast-growing engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Systems Management

• Manage servers, workstations, and network infrastructure
• Install and maintain operating systems and software
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues

User & Access Management

• Manage user accounts, email, and access permissions
• Ensure data backup, security, and antivirus protection

Software & Hardware Support

• Support engineering software like AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools
• Handle hardware, printers, and connectivity support
• Coordinate with IT vendors and maintain asset records

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking
• Knowledge of firewall, VPN, and cloud platforms
• Understanding of cybersecurity and backup systems
• Proficiency in Office 365 and domain management
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Background in engineering or design firm IT support
