Job Overview
Moon Technolabs is hiring a Junior DevOps Engineer to assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role is ideal for professionals looking to build expertise in AWS cloud, DevOps automation, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and enterprise deployment environments.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD & Automation

• Assist in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate build and deployment workflows
• Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development using Terraform for AWS, Azure, and GCP environments
• Implement configuration management and automation using Ansible

Containers & Cloud Deployment

• Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker
• Support deployments across Kubernetes clusters
• Follow DevOps best practices throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

System Monitoring & Performance

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux-based servers and applications
• Configure and maintain web servers such as Apache2 and Nginx for performance, security, and high availability
• Implement best practices for backups, logging, scalability, and infrastructure reliability

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with development teams to enhance DevOps processes
• Create and maintain technical documentation for deployments and operational procedures
• Continuously learn new cloud technologies, automation tools, and platform engineering practices

Required Skills

Programming & Scripting

• Bash / Shell scripting (mandatory)
• Python (basic to intermediate – preferred)
• Groovy (basic understanding for Jenkins pipelines)

DevOps Tools & Technologies

• Jenkins (pipeline creation, job management)
• Terraform (modules, state management)
• Ansible (playbooks and roles)
• Git (branching strategies, pull requests, CI workflows)

Operating Systems

• Strong working knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian)
• Basic familiarity with macOS and Windows

Cloud Platforms

• AWS – EC2, S3, IAM, RDS (working experience)
• Azure – Virtual Machines, AKS (preferred)
• GCP – GKE or Cloud Functions (nice to have)

Containers & Web Servers

• Docker – image creation, optimization, registries
• Kubernetes – deployments, services, troubleshooting
• Apache2 / Nginx – configuration fundamentals
