Role Overview
Moody’s is hiring an experienced Associate DevOps Engineer to join its Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. This role plays a key part in maintaining the reliability, scalability, and security of critical cloud infrastructure.
The engineer will work across incident management, cloud server operations, and DevOps automation, supporting high-availability services in a 24x7 production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Global Support & Operations

• Serve as the first point of contact for incoming incidents via phone, email, or web
• Perform routine system health checks and maintenance
• Execute user access provisioning and AD group management
• Monitor cloud-based applications (PaaS/SaaS) and troubleshoot access issues

Incident & Change Management

• Categorize, prioritize, and resolve incidents within defined SLAs
• Coordinate and escalate major incidents (Sev 1/Sev 2) as needed
• Support change requests and post-incident reviews

Cloud & Infrastructure Operations

• Support Azure, AWS, or GCP environments
• Perform OS patch management and schedule patch deployments
• Run vulnerability scans using tools like Qualys; report and remediate findings

Required Skills

• 3–6 years of experience in system operations and incident handling
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Hands-on familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow or BMC Remedy
• Proficiency in OS patching tools such as BigFix
• ITIL V3 certification or equivalent training

Nice to Have

• Relevant certifications in Azure, AWS, or ITIL
• Experience with disaster recovery, data center ops, or ITSM practices
• Exposure to automation and scripting for system administration
