We're hiring a DevOps Engineer to power our scalable, secure, cloud-native infrastructure, focusing on AWS, Terraform, EKS, and serverless architecture. You’ll be part of the Data Estate DevOps team, enabling scalable infrastructure and seamless deployment of data pipelines for Moody’s global operations in 29 countries.
Responsibilities
- Design, manage, and automate Kubernetes (EKS) infrastructure for cloud-native applications.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform across multiple environments.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions to support agile delivery.
- Automate deployment of AWS serverless components like Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
- Monitor performance using observability tools for logging, alerts, and metrics.
- Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to align infrastructure with product requirements.
- Maintain runbooks, architectural diagrams, and documentation to ensure continuity.
Skills & Technologies
- 2+ years in Kubernetes & AWS EKS
- Strong AWS expertise: Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge
- Terraform (2+ years) for automated provisioning of AWS infrastructure
- CI/CD pipeline automation using GitHub Actions
- Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for task automation
- Preferred: Databricks, Apache Kafka, and MLOps pipeline experience
- Proficient in DevOps for data engineering platforms and event-driven systems
About the Team
The Data Estate DevOps team builds scalable and automated systems to deliver enterprise-grade data services. You’ll work on cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps, data governance, and real-time analytics systems using modern DevOps practices.
This role supports Moody's mission of delivering real-time, high-integrity data for decision-making, including compliance readiness and GenAI model enablement.
