Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Windows Patching Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining and upgrading Windows Server environments, managing vulnerabilities, and ensuring the security and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, both on-premise and in the cloud.
• Develop, implement, and manage patch management processes for Windows Servers.
• Validate and troubleshoot configuration baselines.
• Implement and manage vulnerability management processes using Qualys.
• Use PowerBI to create reports and dashboards for patch management.
• Monitor patch compliance and vulnerability remediation.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams for timely vulnerability remediation.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell.
• Troubleshoot SCCM agent-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and suggest improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotations and weekend work for critical patch deployment.

Mandatory Skills:

• Extensive experience with Microsoft SCCM Platform.
• Strong knowledge of patch management and best practices.
• Proficiency in Qualys for vulnerability management.
• Experience in PowerShell Development.
• Proficiency in PowerBI for reporting and data analysis.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with SCCM agents.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud resources.
• Familiarity with IBM BigFix, Tanium, and similar tools.
• Experience with Windows Server 2019/2022.
• VMware platform experience.
• Experience patching Linux (a plus).
